The Whistles

A     Bb     C     D     Eb

Eb

A mere half-step higher than the, "standard," D tuning, a special brightness is built-in to this whistle.

Excellent for playing music in:

  • Eb Major

  • Ab Major

  • f minor

  • c minor

(and more, with enough creativity)

The Eb whistle is 28cm (11") long ~depending on where it's tuned~ & weighs 3.45oz

D

The "Standard" pitch for a lot of trad music.

Excellent for playing music in:
    •    D Major
    •    G Major
    •    e minor
    •    b minor
(and more, with enough creativity)

The D whistle is 29.5cm (11.5") long ~depending on where it's tuned~ & weighs 3.75oz

C

A step lower than D, the drop in pitch is inherently mellow, but this whistle still provides a clear, strong tone.  A great whistle to use for accompanists since most keyboard, guitar, etc players will be quite comfortable in the key of C

Excellent for playing music in:

  • C Major

  • F Major

  • d minor

  • a minor

(and more, with enough creativity)

The C whistle is 33.5cm (13.25") long ~depending on where it's tuned~ & weighs 3.9oz

Bb

A very popular key for orchestral music, jazz, and the many other, "Bb," instruments found across brass, strings, etc

Excellent for playing music in:
    •    Bb Major
    •    Eb Major
    •    c minor
    •    g minor
(and more, with enough creativity)

The Bb whistle is 14.75cm (37.5") long ~depending on where it's tuned~ & weighs 5.25oz

A

The lowest and largest of our current whistle lineup.  Great for collaborating with pipers.  And the "2nd position" key is D, making it a lot of fun as an alternative to a "standard" D whistle.

Excellent for playing music in:

  • A Major

  • D Major

  • b minor

  • f# minor

(and more, with enough creativity)

The A whistle is 39.5cm (15.5") long ~depending on where it's tuned~ & weighs 5.5oz
